For Memorial weekend we went to Idaho we started the weekend out visiting all the Egley’s. We took a handgun to my Dad that he had us pick up for him at Cabela’s it’s a 500 Caliber Revolver, it’s massive. He let everyone have a chance to shoot it that wanted to and it was interesting and scary to watch. All the boys handled it really well and so did Stacy. It got away from Mom a little bit and scared all of us we then told her she’s not allowed to shoot it again. Madison learned to shoot a .22 and David and I shot some .40 caliber’s because we wanted to see how they felt before we looked into getting one for David.
We went up to the Lava Cemetery and cleaned Gabriel’s headstone really well and put up some new decorations that will hopefully look nice through the summer. It was nice to be able to spend some time there. Katie and Alice went with us but the other kids were having so much fun jumping on the hay bales that they didn’t want to come.
We had Dutch oven for dinner and we roasted marshmallows for s’mores. It was fun to hang out with everyone.
