A Good Grief Benefit Concert

The Benefit Concert has been officially announced on Molly Jacksons' Blog so I’m sending the information via my blog as well.

Just a little background information…

Shortly after Gabriel passed away we started thinking about his headstone, my father in law gave me an article in the Mormon Times. The article was about a family who lost their little girl and had started a foundation to help families who had lost children pay for headstones. I contacted Molly and they got in touch with us. They were excited to help us out. In January  a small documentary filmed by BYUtv about the Good Grief foundation was aired. David and I were shown on this documentary receiving a check to pay for Gabie’s headstone and a short interview with us and the Jacksons. The post with the documentary is here.

I’m thrilled to say that since that first time meeting Molly, Vic & Peter we’ve made lasting friends and although we don’t talk to often I always know I have a friend who knows exactly how I feel when I’m missing Gabriel. Molly and Vic’s Good Grief Benefit Concert is coming up at the end of March and Molly has asked me to help it all come together. I will be helping to get things set up and ready to go on the day of and I couldn’t feel more privileged to have been asked to help with this great cause, even in the smallest way.

I’d like to encourage all my readers to visit Molly’s Blog and read about the great people the concert will help. Then I’d love to see you attend the concert, and if you can’t then go to the website and make a donation.
