Jenna got her scriptures today and her baptism dress a journal and scripture markers. She also got a pretty jewelry box from Grandma and Grandpa Egley and a $2 bill, card and bag of fruit shaped marshmallows. She also got two outfits from mom and dad and an outfit from Madison and Katie (they bought with their own money). Isaac gave Jenna a big hug when she opened her scriptures and said he was glad she got her scriptures. He’s so sweet. Jenna also got a Nerf gun like one Isaac has so they could play together.
Jenna requested a Temple cake so David copied the Mt. Timpanogos temple and made her a really cute cake. Then we topped it with trick candles which she didn’t really get but kept blowing them out over and over again.
On a complete side note and nothing to do with Jenna’s Birthday Isaac said something worth recording on here. The other day Colleen was really sick and coughing like crazy. She thought she was all alone in the kitchen hacking away and then Isaac poked his head up over the counter and colleen said he looked very concerned. He then came around the bar and said this to Colleen “Grandma did you know that Jesus can hear you when you talk and when you talk in here (he pointed at his head).” She told him she did know that. He then told her he was going to pray and ask Jesus to help her feel better. So he folded his arms and bowed his head and said a prayer. After that Colleen said she better get better soon so his faith would stay strong. Anyway I just thought that was really cute and I needed to write it down so we don’t forget it.
But back to Jenna’s party it was really a good party and we are planning on Baptizing her on November 5th here in Pocatello.
