Today was the Unveiling Ceremony for the Celebration of Life Monument. The Monument is a memorial for all the organ donors in the Intermountain Donor Service’s area. They have the ceremony on the last Saturday of every August and add then new names of the donors from the last year. This year Gabriel’s name was add along with almost 500 other names. The wall has a total of about 4500 names on it. It is all glass and very pretty with several Children and other beautiful statues and a fountain in the park. It is located on the property with the Salt Lake City Public Library. The ceremony was just 40 minutes with a few speakers and musical numbers. There were a lot of people there so it was difficult to get a good picture. Luckily yesterday we stopped by and took a couple pictures I just wish we’d taken some with the kids then. But we can go back anytime and they say it’s very beautiful when it’s all lite up at night. We are a very proud family to have our Gabriel on what they call their hero wall!
