Tonight after a very busy da,y Ben came home from work and was ready to head to Lava to work on his truck with Dad. He suggested the older girls go with him and spend the night at Grandma and Grandpas since I am going up on Sunday anyway to listen to General Conference with Mom and Dad. I said ok, of course but as they were leaving after I buckled them in and told Ben to drive very safely with my girls I felt prompted to ask my Heavenly Father to bless them with a safe trip. This is quite a uncommon thing for me. I was terrified if I didn’t ask for their safety and for comfort for myself that something bad would happen to them. Don’t get me wrong Ben is and excellent driver and very safe with his nieces that he loves so much, but something told me to get on my knees and pray. I’ll never know if something could’ve gone wrong on their trip because my prayers were answered and they arrived safely at mom and dads house. I’m not sure if I’m becoming more and more paranoid since the loss of Gabe about my children being away from me or if I just needed to talk to my Heavenly Father but either way I’m more thnt thankful that my girls are safe.
Since the older two went to Grandma and Grandpa’s I felt the younger two needed a treat as well. So at 9PM which is getting late at our house for little ones, we went to Cold Stone Creamery with Melinda, Sarah, Joshua and Joshua’s friend Joshua. Isaac had chocolate ice cream with peanut butter cups in it and Jenna had Cotton Candy ice cream with sprinkles. Jenna was very tired by the time we got home and a little weepy because of a thorn she got in her big toe earlier today. So Aunt Melinda doctored her up and removed the owie and then they went home and the three of us, Me , Jenna and Isaac laid down to watch Tangled. David called right after it started so I left the room to talk to him about his day and when I came back I found one sleeping earthly angel and one almost sleeping earthly angel. By the time the movie ended Isaac too had gotten comfortable and fell asleep. I love cuddling, and movie time with my kids. They are my life and my joy!!
What a fun night with your little sweeties! I love cuddling with my kids too!
