Thank You Emily..

Today we received a beautiful gift in the mail. This is the letter that was with it.

Dear Amy,

We have never met but I want you to know that as a Mother my heart goes out to you for the loss of your sweet Gabe. I found your blog through Ashley Sullenger’s blog and your strength and courage really touched me. I read one of your comments on Ashley’s blog and you mentioned that you did not have any jewelry with Gabe’s picture on it. I was impressed to take care of that for you and I also had a keychain made for your husband.

My biggest fear is losing one of my children or my husband and I hope that I never have to go through what you are going through. My hope is that when you look at the picture of Gabe on these pendants that you will smile more often than cry.

Just a little info on my family, my husband Jake and I have four beautiful children. McKenzie 18, Belle 10, Tyler 7 and Jason 4 they are the reason that I get out of bed every morning.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I continue daily to be surprised by the love of my fellow man. I never knew people were so caring for others. We have been shown so much love through our trial of losing Gabie. I am so grateful for those of you who are willing to go out of your way to contact a stranger and do something so personal and kind to make my day brighter.

I Love the necklace’s and David immediately attached the keychain to his keys. He was very impressed. People tend to think of me more often then him, I believe it is only because I’m so vocal in my grief.  But although he isn’t vocal he struggles just like I do and I know he is truly thankful for this token of love from you.

Totally off topic I have a cousin that lives in Eagle Mountain, Cody and Shannon Jewkes you wouldn’t happen to know them would you. And we are thinking of moving to Lehi this year if we can sell our home in Idaho maybe one day we can meet and I can give you a big hug to say thank you again.
