Mama’s Love by Benjamin Egley

Ben singing and playing his song Mama’s Love

{Chorus} Oh Yeah ma’mas love. It is never endin’
Oh Yeah daddys love. Just a’keeps’a mendin’.

Ma’ma loves her baby
Takes care of her baby
Daddy’s Little boy
He just keeps’a playin’
Mischeif in his eyes
Never gonna stop

{Chorus} Oh Yeah ma’mas love. It is never endin’
Oh Yeah daddys love. Just a’keeps’a mendin’.

Grandma loves her baby
She spoils her baby
Grandpas little boy
he just keeps’a sayin’
Always gonna love ya.
Never gonna stop

{Chorus} Oh Yeah ma’mas love. It is never endin’
Oh Yeah daddys love. Just a’keeps’a mendin’.

Father loves his baby
he ne’eds his baby
Father’s little boy
Gabe has gone to heaven
He keeps on servin’
Always gonna love us
Never gonna stop

Heaven watches over us. We must all have faith & trust
Father gives us all we need. So that we can all succeed.
{Chorus} Oh Yeah ma’mas love. It is never endin’
Oh Yeah daddys love. Just a’keeps’a mendin’.

  1. Just wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you today. I was just looking at Ashley's blog and noticed that you had one of those days too. I pray for your family daily but some days, I pray more.

  2. Hi Amy,

I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I gave out 3 of Gabe's books today to 3 very beautiful, young children. They brought huge smiles. One of the books I read to a little 2 year old as she had her blood drawn. The distraction helped calm her a bit and made the procedure go a bit faster for both of us. As I left her room I said a prayer of thanks to your little Gabe. And thought to myself how cool it was that a beautiful little boy could be spreading so much joy from such a beautiful, yet distant, place.

So on those especially hard days I hope you can imagine the faces of the little ones you and your family have helped through your heart wrenching loss. I saw those faces today and they truly were angelic. I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers tonight and always.

    Sincerely,
    Christa
