The Hunchback of Notre-Dame

Tonight we fought our way up to Highland High to watch our niece Sarah as a Gargoyle in The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. I say fought because the snow storm was insane for February. We originally headed up Pocatello Creek Road and was planning on going up Olympus but when we got there we saw a car had slid off the hill into a car in the turning lane. It was holding up traffic so we decided to take the short cut up by the hotels and Applebee’s. We turned and noticed up ahead of us a large truck and trailer had stopped on the hill and had it’s hazards on, it wasn’t moving and was in turn stopping traffic. Then we decided to turn around and go up Chubbuck road. Chubbuck road was still slick but with our AWD we made it no problem. We arrived at the school just in time to watch the show. It was very good, Madison kept telling me over and over “I Love Plays”. I’m glad we’re still living here and able to go and watch Sarah perform.
