Well it looks as though I need to catch up on my Day’s Of Thanks and post about our wonderful Thanksgiving today…
November 25th Thanksgiving Day: Today was especially big at our house because not only is it Thanksgiving but it is Katie’s 11th Birthday. 11 years ago on Thanksgiving Day David and I welcomed our precious first born child into our little family. Katie was 7lbs 14oz and was beautiful from the beginning after a week in the NICU we were able to bring her home and we’ve loved having her in our home and family ever since. Katie is my big helper and lets me cry on her shoulder when I need to. She’s been a great strength to me in the last 4 months and I don’t know what I’d do without her. So today among all my many many blessings to be thankful for, I am most thankful for Katie.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner at Mom and Dad Saville’s today. We had just a few of us there but it was wonderful all the same. We love and miss Steven & Kayla’s Family who couldn’t make it because of road conditions and we love and miss Michael & Sherry’s Family and also David & Elizabeth’s Family who live so far away from us in Texas. We hope all had a wonderful day spent with loved ones.
On a side note we had a very happy Goliath today when we gave him the Ham bone, the only problem was where to bury it since the ground was all frozen. He wandered around for a good 15 minutes looking for a good place.
November 24th Day 24: On Wednesday I was super thankful for my big girl Katie who helped me make pies and cakes and David made chip dip. Katie and I also go to go do some shopping with Grandma Egley which is always fun to be with her. We had an enjoyable day and I was totally beat by the end of it.
November 23rd Day 23: On Tuesday I was thankful that my kids had a snow day and David was home we were able spend the whole day just hanging out together. David and I got our shopping done for the upcoming feast and the kids played in the snow building forts. We had a movie night together and ended the day with some hot chocolate.
Sounds like a fun day. Happy Thanksgiving!
