Day’s Of Thanks..

November 4th Day 4: Today I’m thankful for the opportunity to visit with 2 friends I never get to see.

My friend Misty stopped by this morning and brought the Scentsy Fundraiser Check that she did for Gabriel. She said it wasn’t as much as she had hoped it’d be but I’m just so thankful to her for thinking of us and doing something to help us in any way she could. What an amazing example of generosity, I’m sure she gave up some of her hostess benefits by turning her show into a fundraiser. We sat and visited a little while and it was so nice to see her and be able to tell her thank you with a big hug.

Then at lunch time Isaac and I met up with my long time friend Holly. We went to lunch at McDonalds so the kids could play on the toy. We got to chat for and hour and a half or so. It was so nice to catch up with her. We had so much fun together when we we young and we are both busy moms and don’t get to see each other very much. We usually try to have lunch or go to a movie about once a year. I know we’d both to do it more often but life is so complicated. I’m just so grateful that we were able to get together today. I hope we do better and our next lunch date comes along sooner.
