We had a great trip to Boise last week. David had to go to some training on Thursday so on Wednesday night we drove to Steven and Kayla’s. Thursday after David’s training we went and visited The Old Penitentiary with the kids they had a lot of fun. Even though it was very very hot! Then on Friday Katie, Madison, Jenna and I went and did some school clothes shopping at Other Mothers. Friday night we went to the Morrison Knudsen Park and had dinner with Steven and Kayla’s ward then went for a nature walk that is located in the park. After that we went to The Natatorium and Hydro tube and swam from 9 until 10. Isaac loved the tube, David was able to hold him on his lap and go down. They both really enjoyed it. Katie and Madison also love the tube. I took Jenna down once and that was enough for her. She enjoyed the wading pool the rest of the time with Gabriel. On Saturday we had a relaxing morning then went out to Delsa’s for lunch and then to the river. We played in a small creek that stems off the river for about a 1/2 hour or so. The kids got soaked and we all cooled off. Then later we headed home it was a great weekend.
Thanks Steven and Kayla for the great hospitality.
Wow, you did a lot! Just have a few questions for ya:
ReplyDeleteWhat's under the log?
What's up with David acting like Michael Jackson and hanging his baby upside down over a pond?
Why didn't you invite me?
Makes me a bit homesick~but so glad everyone is happy and settled!
Well the log is actually a tree stump growing out from the bank and it has some moss and things growing under it.
ReplyDeleteDavid acting like Michael Jackson is a bit of an exageration I'd say. Didn't Michael hang his kid off a balcony of a hotel or something like that not a little creek. And it was really hot so David was just getting the top of Gabe's head wet.
Next time we'll be sure to invite you. It's funny even though we're not from Texas when I see pictures of you guys with Dave and Lizzy I feel homesick for family.
